What sets Winston Salem ABA apart is how well they actually know each child they work with. They picked up on our son's personality quickly and used that to connect with him in a real way. The progress he's made in just a few months has genuinely surprised us.

Eva Mendes is the third couples counselor we’ve worked with after discovering that my husband is on the autism spectrum, and she’s the first one who truly seemed to understand the depth and complexity of what we were dealing with. She was able to clearly see what was actually happening in our marriage and explain it in a way that made sense to both of us. With warmth, patience, and many helpful examples and analogies, she helped my husband finally begin to understand and use the strategies that we needed in order to partner and unite together. Her insight into neurodiverse relationships has made a meaningful difference for us. I’m very grateful we found her.

I have a 7 yrs old son who has autism. I been living in Williamsville for 2 yrs now. When we moved here I wanted to find help for my son. I couldn’t find a lot places in the area who offer ABA services in a center base setting. I put my son in school first and I had horrible experiences. I think once your child is labeled with autism, people don’t think that there is much that can be done for them. I found flourishing hope on google and I just filled the form online for ABA services. I think hawra ( owner of flourishing hope) is the answer for all my prayers. I was mentally exhausted to find someone who actually believes in my boy. She gave my family a hope. My son absolutely love her. My son actually is happy and excited for therapy. He has made so much progress in just 3 months. He is actually starting to use more words. His behavior and sensory issues are almost gone. Any parent who is actually looking for ABA services , I would recommend to just visit flourishing hope once. This place is filled with love and support. I will be forever grateful for Hawra and her staff Leah, Alex and miss ally.

My experience with this clinic was very disappointing. I brought all the required documents so my son could start his therapies, and the authorization was even submitted. For three months they kept asking me to come back and forth, telling me everything was ready for him to begin. After making us wait all that time, they finally told me that they actually have a waiting list and that they could refer us to another clinic. This is something they should have told us from the beginning. It is very unprofessional to waste families’ time, especially when it involves therapies for a child.

I have noticed such an improvement in my grandson's communication and a decrease in some of his behaviors since coming here for therapy. He's more engaging in play and surprising us all the time! The activities they do for him have been fun and helping him learn at his own pace. I'm excited to see how much he'll continue to grow.
